Included with InfoPress or available as a separate product, Fax Broadcast frees up your
valuable time. You simply select a document file(s) to be faxed, determine what
information you'd like on the cover sheet, choose a database of fax numbers and decide
when you want the transmissions to begin and end.
Fax broadcasting can be performed simultaneously with fax-on-demand operations, and
broadcasts can be prioritized relative to fax-on-demand requests. InfoPress will
re-queue
busy or failed attempts, thus freeing the fax board to immediately process your other
important fax transmissions.
Lists of fax files and recipient lists are easily viewed, edited and stored. The
recipient list may be imported from any spreadsheet or database program (dBase or ASCII
text files), and the number and size of recipient lists is unlimited.
Custom cover pages can be created on the fly for each recipient on the broadcast list.
According to your specifications, InfoPress will place the recipient's name, company,
date, number of pages and personalized comments on the cover sheet.
You may add Fax Description Language to Fax Broadcast for advanced imaging and mail
merge features.
For monitoring purposes, a transmission log is maintained, including the
success/failure, number of retries, transmission time, date and time, fax number and
remote ID of the receiving fax machine.
