DESCRIPTION
The Meridian 1 option 11,51,61,81 PBX is
unable to convert DID to DTMF. In order to integrate the Meridian 1 Option
11,51.61,81 PBX with a Castelle FaxPress server, you’ll need to:

Purchase a FaxPress SBE, 2500, 5000, 7000
or 7500 E&M,

Purchase a third party E&M interface, such
as the Exacom 4port E&M interface box, or CTPX E&M interface board, to
use with a FaxPress SBE, 2500, 5000 or 7000 server. (See http://www.ctpx.com/

Additionally, you will need to contact
your PBX provider to obtain a “tie card trunk,” part number NT8D15 with
the CDP which enables call forwarding to a remote PBX.
