Exchange/Outlook Direct stops working after Outlook 2002 Security Patch

SUMMARY
After applying the new Outlook 2002 Security
Update for December 4, 2002 the Exchange Direct and Outlook Direct
transport will generate Errors. Once this happens users are not able to
send and receive Emails from their Outlook Client.
DESCRIPTION
This error
message is repeated over and over until Outlook Is closed: Error “Task:
‘FaxPress Exchange Direct - Receiving’ reported error (0x800C8105)”.
This is a
known issue Castelle is currently working on.
The only
workaround is to either remove the FaxPress Exchange/Outlook Direct
transport or uninstall the Outlook client and reinstall outlook client
without the New Outlook 2002 Security Update for December 4, 2002.
Microsoft does not provide an uninstall or removal feature with this
update.
